阿里嘉的異想世界

每月薪資超過$450，在澳洲依法工作享有雇主額外提撥9%到員工的私人退休金帳號，通常這筆錢需要在65歲後退休領回，政府不課徵稅額；但若為結束澳洲工作的背包客，65歲前領回退休金是會被政府課收30%稅額。

首先，先打通電話給自己的退休金帳號管理公司〈註1〉，問明要如何辦理關閉帳戶的手續。通常帳戶管理公司會要求閣下填寫關閉帳戶的表格申請單，如以下連結http://www.ato.gov.au/content/downloads/spr23637n7204.pdf，附上護照影本和離境章影印本即可。

澳洲對於影本的效力可是有要求的，通常影本要受到公平、正直、正義的第三方認可，只要拿著正本和複本，經由第三方證明影本和正本是完全一樣。通常這樣的動作可由律師、波麗士大人、郵局經理等等證明即可，只要在影本處寫上以下字樣：

Certified true copy

Signature:                      (第三方親筆簽名)

Printed Name:               (姓名正楷、英文大寫)

Qualification:                 (職位)

Date:                            (押上日期)

閣下自己也不要忘記在影本上簽名。聽起來甚是簡單，但台灣警察局外事科、郵局經理都沒有這樣的義務和權限來幫閣下證明，而出境章又只能在出境後拿到，上述手續不能在澳洲警局辦理，有點小麻煩。大家不妨花點錢到外交部的公證處/澳洲台北辦事處〈註2〉/律師公證處/自己律師同學/自己認識的警察/隔壁閒閒的阿伯，寫一寫，簽個名，蓋個章，誰管你是真是假，反正送去關閉帳戶而已，又沒連絡地址電話，他們怎麼檢驗這印章身分的真假，看官您說是吧？我說閣下看到這篇文章可省錢了，拿去給閒閒的阿貓阿狗簽簽蓋蓋即可也不用計較。雖說如此，我做人還是做的切切實實地拿去給當律師的同學蓋了章，規規矩矩寄了出去。

由於我的二簽在申請時尚有效力，我的退休金帳戶公司要求我寫信給澳洲移民局單方中止打工度假的簽證效力。

用原本申請核准通過的打工度假電子簽證那封信，轉寄到以上服務信箱，此封信上已記載著那隻兔崽子的資料，不用我廢話多說，只簡單告知服務人員敝人關閉退休金帳戶的需求，請求證明簽證喪失的電子信函即可，兩天後便可收到服務人員電子郵件，快速又親切。不用花錢到哪裡去申請等等等，看官您又省了一筆錢，恭喜恭喜。再把這郵件轉到帳戶管理公司，事情就告一段落，在家等著收錢。

簽證效力終止的電子信如下

Dear XXXX,

I wish to advise that your subclass 417 visa was cancelled on 25/02/2009
under section 128 of the Migration Act 1958 (‘the Act’) relying on
grounds at section 116 because you requested in writing that your visa
be cancelled. Section 116 of the Act provides that the Minister may
cancel a visa if he or she is satisfied that:

s116(1)(g) a prescribed ground for cancelling a visa applies
to the holder.

The prescribed ground referred to above is set out in paragraph 2.43
(1)(g) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’), which
provides:

2.43 (1) For the purposes of paragraph 116(1)(g) of the Act
(which deals with circumstances in which the Minister may
cancel a visa), the grounds prescribed are:
(g) in the case of a temporary visa held by a person
other than a visa holder mentioned in paragraph (h) ? that
the visa holder asks the Minister, in writing, to cancel the
visa;


The Act gives you the opportunity to show why you think the ground for
cancellation does not exist and/or to give reasons why your visa should
not have been cancelled.

If you are able to show that the ground for cancellation does/did not
exist, the cancellation of your visa will be revoked. If you cannot show
that the ground for cancellation does/did not exist, but there is a
reason why your visa should not have been cancelled, the cancellation of
your visa may be revoked.

For revocation to be considered, you must respond to this notice within
28 days, stating the reasons why the visa should not have been
cancelled.

There is no provision for this time frame to be extended. If you do not
respond within the above time frame, the revocation of the cancellation
of your visa will not be considered.
As you are no longer the holder of an Australian visa, you are not
entitled to travel to Australia. If you do you will be refused
immigration clearance and will be removed from Australia.

Also, any person, including members of your family unit (eg spouse,
dependent children (including children born in Australia) who held a
visa because you held a visa, have had their visa cancelled. If another
person (other than a family unit member) holds a visa only because you
held a visa, then that person’s visa may also be cancelled without
notice from the Minister. Members of your family unit, who held a visa
because you held a visa and who are in Australia, will be detained and
removed from Australia unless they make a valid application for and are
granted another visa. If they are currently outside Australia but travel
to Australia, they will be refused immigration clearance and will be
removed from Australia. Relevant agencies in Australia have been advised
that your visa and those of your family members have been cancelled.

As a result of your eligible temporary resident visa having been
cancelled, you may now proceed with your claim for superannuation under
the DASP scheme.

〈註1〉在工作前，大多雇主會主動遞給開退休金帳戶管理公司的資訊讓閣下填寫，如果自己已經有開過，只要通知僱主該公司的帳號等等相關資料，雇主便會把你應得的退休金匯入該帳戶。這世界上，總會有人做偷雞摸狗的事情，據我的經驗，並不是所有的雇主都會匯款，也不是所有會匯款的雇主都會如數付清，我的退休金被逃掉一半，非常誇張。請大家有時間的話，可以好好檢視一下，在關閉前，請好好追討。

 〈註2〉澳洲辦事處蓋一份章須收取澳幣$30，而且還要預約。有朋友傻傻拿了六份去，又沒預約，當場勸他另覓辦法。要燒錢不如拿錢去買金紙，還可求神明保佑。
